Entrepreneurs, Who Are They?

Am I one of them? Are you one of them? Let us say you were thinking about starting a small business of your own online, it makes sense that you would want to find out what entrepreneur means.
Well, according to the American Heritage Dictionary, “an entrepreneur is a person who organizes, operates, and assumes the risk for a business venture.” There are two sides to being an entrepreneur let us define them.
The one side is where you and I choose to put money into a particular business enterprise but will let someone else deal with all the business goings-on that makes us investors. The other side of being an entrepreneur is when we choose to finance a business idea and take charge of all the business activities on a daily basis.
So, an entrepreneur is a person who comes up with a unique product, a new creative way of producing something, or an “elite market.” As a rule, entrepreneurs start with a small business idea and if it bears out to be worthwhile, it will grow into a profitable business.
Now, the larger the business the more money that is required to get it started. But, for a small business only a small amount of capital is needed and that is why most of us will give more consideration to finding a niche in a “work at home” business.
Perhaps having the mindset of an entrepreneur starts as soon as you and I are born. As a child, we possess certain traits that we learn to use as we develop our personalities. As we get older, we begin to put into use the traits that we were born with that as thinkers and planners of ideas. You and I are the ones who will always strive for the impossible. So now that we recognize ourselves as “born entrepreneurs”, let us get to work on our skills and qualities so that we can use them for our future success.
Starting up that new enterprise can be easy for us the “born entrepreneurs” since nothing will deter us from getting what we want. You and I are risk-takers. In our lives, we demonstrate creativity, and leadership and we have that inner drive or zeal that are some of the vital ingredients to being a successful entrepreneur. There is nothing or no one that can stop us from succeeding.

You and I enjoy the idea of being entrepreneurs because it is an exciting and challenging undertaking. We most likely have the determination, the capital, the eagerness, appropriate qualities, and skills to get started working online.
